Key Responsibilities

Commerce & Performance Media Leadership

  • Own and help shape strategy across Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and Amazon DSP.
  • Conduct hands-on audits across campaign structure, keyword strategy, bidding, budget allocation and search-term harvesting.
  • Identify opportunities across impression share, keyword coverage and defensive and offensive search strategies.
  • Develop full-funnel approaches spanning search, competitive conquesting, retargeting and prospecting.
  • Guide agency partners on budget flighting, growth versus efficiency decisions, TACoS/blended ROAS and new-to-brand acquisition.
  • Diagnose changes in performance, including shifts in impressions, conversion rate and Buy Box dynamics.
  • Partner with finance stakeholders on forecasting and spend pacing.

Category & Growth Strategy

  • Build Amazon category growth strategies spanning assortment, hero SKUs and price-pack architecture.
  • Identify category whitespace and competitive opportunities.
  • Translate search behavior and consumer demand signals into actionable category and business insights.
  • Develop annual and quarterly media investment frameworks aligned to category priorities.
  • Evaluate incrementality and halo impact across retail and brand marketing.

Integrated Media & Client Partnership

  • Connect retail media investment with broader brand marketing initiatives and objectives.
  • Bring together performance, commerce and brand considerations to identify where Amazon can support broader growth objectives.
  • Translate complex media performance into clear recommendations for client and agency stakeholders.
  • Operate effectively within an embedded, highly collaborative environment, partnering across Unilever and WPP Unite teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in commerce media, retail media, Amazon advertising or ecommerce performance marketing.
  • Deep hands-on understanding of Amazon Sponsored Ads and Amazon DSP.
  • Strong knowledge of retail search strategy, keyword management, bidding, budget allocation and optimization.
  • Ability to evaluate performance through commerce-focused metrics including ROAS, TACoS and new-to-brand acquisition.
  • Strong strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to connect media performance to broader category and growth opportunities.
  • Experience developing full-funnel commerce media strategies spanning search, display, retargeting and prospecting.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose performance changes and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work across client, agency, finance, brand and commerce teams.
