You'll own the full customer lifecycle: from the moment someone joins our list, to their first purchase, to becoming a repeat, loyal member of the TLB community. This role is equal parts strategist, storyteller, and analyst — you'll build the flows, personalize the experience, and prove it out with the numbers.If you're the person who has an opinion about the latest beauty launch AND can build a killer win-back flow AND knows why your open rate dipped 3% last Tuesday — we want to talk to you.What You'll Own Customer Lifecycle & RetentionOwn the end-to-end customer lifecycle across email and SMS — welcome, onboarding, education, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back and loyaltyBuild and continuously optimize automated flows that increase retention and drive repeat purchase behaviorDevelop segmentation and personalization strategies that make every customer feel like the message was built for themIdentify and act on churn signals before they become lost customersAcquisition & List GrowthDrive strategies to grow our email/SMS list with high-intent, high-value subscribersPartner cross-functionally on pop-ups, landing pages and incentive strategies that convert visitors into subscribers and subscribers into customersReport on list growth, list health, and deliverability on an ongoing basisCustomer Education & LTVCreate lifecycle content and campaigns that educate customers on product usage, ingredients, and routines — turning first-time buyers into educated, loyal repeat customersBuild strategies specifically aimed at increasing average order value and customer lifetime valueUse customer data and purchase behavior to inform smarter, more relevant lifecycle momentsCreative & AI CollaborationBrief and collaborate with the Creative team to bring email and SMS campaigns to life with on-brand, culturally relevant contentLeverage AI tools to accelerate copy, subject line testing, personalization, and creative assets to build campaigns without sacrificing brand look or voiceBring a design-minded eye to every campaign — layout, flow, and user experience matter as much as the messageReporting & AnalyticsOwn CRM reporting: list growth, churn/retention rates, flow performance, campaign performance, revenue attributionTranslate data into insight — and insight into action — for leadership and cross-functional partnersRun consistent A/B testing across flows and campaigns to keep improving performanceCross-Functional PartnershipWork closely with Creative, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to ensure CRM strategy supports broader business goalsStay plugged into product launches, cultural moments, and community conversations to keep lifecycle marketing timely and relevantWhat You Bring 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on CRM, lifecycle marketing, email/SMS marketing, or retention marketingHands-on experience building flows and campaigns in platforms like Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar (Klaviyo experience strongly preferred)A genuine passion for beauty, pop culture, and community — you should already be someone who's plugged inA rare mix of design sensibility and analytical rigor — you can brief a beautiful email and read the performance data behind itComfort using AI tools to move faster and smarter across copy, testing, and campaign developmentStrong cross-functional collaboration skills — you know how to work with Creative, Marketing, and Ecomm to get things doneA self-starter mentality — you spot opportunities before you're asked to and move on themComfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift and speed mattersStrong data storytelling skills — you can turn open rates and churn curves into a narrative leadership can act on
