DIG is looking for a full-time Account Director to lead a portfolio of high-growth clients and drive measurable outcomes across integrated digital marketing channels. In this role, you will serve as the senior strategic voice for your accounts — owning client relationships, guiding cross-functional service delivery across our core services of paid media, SEO, and GEO (generative engine optimization), and partnering with our service implementation leads to create and maintain growth strategies for your base of clients. Additionally, we’re looking for someone who has an established pedigree of working closely with and earning trust from clients.The ideal candidate will:Be a proven account leader with a track record of managing multi-million dollar client portfolios across paid media, SEO, creative, GEO, and analyticsThink strategically and act decisively — capable of translating business goals into integrated marketing strategies (in conjunction with service delivery leads) and leading execution through a teamBuild and sustain strong client relationships through transparent communication, strategic guidance, and consistent performanceNavigate growth-oriented, mid-market-level accounts with confidence — managing QBRs, client revenue growth objectives, stakeholder alignment, and cross-channel strategyBring deep expertise across digital marketing disciplines, including paid media (paid search, paid social primarily, with some programmatic and mid/upper funnel media buys), SEO, and GEOCommand the room in client conversations — presenting data, telling the story, and aligning around a path forwardWhat You'll Do at DIG:Own and grow a portfolio of strategic client accounts, serving as the primary relationship leadPartner with channel leads across paid media, SEO, creative, and analytics to develop and execute integrated strategiesDrive accountability for client performance, identifying opportunities to optimize outcomes and expand scopeLead QBRs and executive-level presentations that connect marketing performance to business resultsRepresent the voice of the client internally, ensuring DIG's work consistently aligns with client goals and expectationsContribute to new business efforts where relevant, bringing a growth mindset to the agency's own developmentQualifications:5+ years in digital marketing account management at a performance marketing digital agencyDemonstrated experience managing portfolios of $1M+ in annual revenue and overseeing multi-million dollar media budgetsExpertise across omni-channel marketing: paid search, programmatic, social, SEO/GEO, and creative strategyStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into strategic recommendationsExceptional client communication skills — you are confident, clear, and consultative – along with high attention to detail and prefer a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated experience in sectors such as consumer goods, healthcare, financial services, retail, SaaS, and/or B2B Compensation and Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Short-term Disability insurance (eligible to enroll day one)401K retirement plan with 4% matchGenerous PTORemote and in-office optionsEquity and ownership opportunity through our employee ownership program — we believe the people building this company should have a stake in itCompensation: -Base salary: $90,000-$120,000/yr -Additional variable compensation: An allocated percentage of managed client revenue, able to generate 50-100% increase on base compensation relative to client retention and performance, paid monthly so it shows up in your regular cash flow rather than as a year-end bonus.Final salary offer will be based on several factors, including job-related skills and experience, relevant education, training or certifications, and other business needs.
