Location: Tysons, Virginia area preferred Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 base salary, depending on experience Employment Type: Full-timePosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly analytical, hands-on Digital Marketing Manager with deep experience in lead generation-focused marketing environments.This role is ideal for someone who understands how to generate, manage, evaluate, and scale qualified leads across multiple paid media and third-party acquisition channels. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable working directly inside advertising platforms, managing external lead vendors, analyzing performance data, and identifying opportunities to improve lead volume, quality, conversion rates, and overall marketing efficiency.Candidates located near Tysons, Virginia are strongly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize high-volume digital lead generation programs across multiple channels, markets, or business units.Maintain recent, hands-on involvement with Google Ads, including paid search campaign structure, bidding strategies, keyword management, conversion tracking, landing page performance, and budget optimization.Manage and improve Google Local Services Ads programs, including budgets, service areas, lead quality, dispute management, and account performance.Plan, execute, and optimize Meta paid advertising campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.Develop and manage relationships with affiliate marketing partners, pay-per-lead vendors, lead aggregators, and other third-party customer acquisition providers.Evaluate affiliate and PPL vendors based on lead quality, contact rates, appointment rates, sales conversion, cost per acquisition, and return on marketing investment.Negotiate pricing, lead criteria, geographic coverage, volume commitments, replacement policies, and performance expectations with external vendors.Monitor lead flow and performance from initial lead creation through appointment, sale, and revenue.Partner with sales, call center, operations, analytics, and technology teams to improve lead handling and conversion.Build and maintain reporting dashboards that provide clear visibility into spend, lead volume, cost per lead, appointment rates, sales conversion, customer acquisition cost, and revenue.Identify tracking gaps, data inconsistencies, lead routing issues, and operational problems affecting marketing performance.Use competitive intelligence and third-party marketing platforms, such as SpyFu or similar tools, to identify opportunities, monitor competitors, and inform campaign strategy.Evaluate and implement emerging marketing technologies, automation tools, and AI-powered workflows.Develop an AI-first approach to campaign analysis, reporting, workflow automation, and marketing operations.Present clear recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership.Required QualificationsSignificant experience managing digital marketing programs in a lead generation-heavy environment.Recent, hands-on experience managing Google PPC campaigns.Recent experience with Google Local Services Ads.Hands-on experience managing Meta paid advertising.Demonstrated experience working with affiliate marketing partners, pay-per-lead vendors, lead aggregators, or third-party lead generation companies.Strong understanding of lead quality, attribution, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and marketing return on investment.Experience managing substantial marketing budgets and allocating spend based on measurable performance.Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex marketing data into clear business recommendations.Experience working with business intelligence reporting environments, dashboards, and multi-source marketing data.Familiarity with competitive intelligence and marketing research platforms such as SpyFu, SEMrush, Similarweb, or comparable tools.Strong communication, project management, and vendor management skills.Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-moving, performance-driven organization.Preferred QualificationsExperience managing marketing across multiple locations, brands, territories, or business units.Familiarity with CRM systems, call tracking platforms, lead routing technology, and offline conversion tracking.Experience connecting marketing performance to appointments, sales, revenue, and profitability.Experience with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development and automation tools is a significant plus.Demonstrated ability to use AI to accelerate reporting, data analysis, quality assurance, campaign management, and workflow development.Located within commuting distance of Tysons, Virginia.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is not simply a campaign coordinator or agency relationship manager. This person understands the full lead generation ecosystem—from media spend and vendor acquisition through lead routing, contact, appointment setting, sales conversion, and revenue.You should be comfortable getting directly into the platforms, challenging vendors, analyzing data, identifying performance problems, and taking ownership of results. You are naturally curious about new technology and actively look for ways to use AI, automation, and better reporting to make the marketing organization faster, smarter, and more effective.
