Job DescriptionOverviewOur client is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join the team in New York and lead a more analytical, hands-on approach to performance marketing. This role will focus on customer acquisition, reactivation, and paid media performance across key digital channels, while serving as a strong internal partner to external agencies and cross-functional teams. It is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven marketer who can translate brand goals into effective campaign strategy, evaluate results with confidence, and help strengthen how digital marketing supports growth.ResponsibilitiesOwn day-to-day oversight of performance marketing initiatives across paid digital channels, with a primary focus on acquisition and reactivation.Partner closely with external agencies to guide execution, review strategy, and ensure campaigns align with business goals, brand positioning, and product priorities.Analyze campaign performance across platforms such as Google, Meta, Shopify, and Google Analytics to identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend optimizations.Monitor key metrics and provide clear, actionable reporting on channel performance, customer behavior, and growth opportunities.Act as the internal subject matter expert on paid media, bringing enough platform knowledge to challenge recommendations, ask the right questions, and improve agency output.Support retention and reactivation efforts in partnership with the internal CRM and email team, ensuring alignment across paid media, messaging, and customer segmentation.Collaborate with marketing and creative partners to help shape digital assets and creative direction for media campaigns.Contribute informed guidance on creative best practices, including asset needs, testing opportunities, and performance-driven recommendations.Translate brand objectives, seasonal priorities, and merchandising focus into effective digital marketing plans.Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in message, product focus, and customer targeting across channels.Requirements3+ years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or paid media, ideally within fashion, luxury, or consumer retail.Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess campaign performance, identify root causes, and make data-backed recommendations.Experience working with major paid media platforms such as Google and Meta.Hands-on campaign management experience is preferred, though candidates with strong oversight and optimization experience in an agency-managed model are also of interest.Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Google Analytics and Shopify.Understanding of CRM, customer segmentation, retention marketing, and reactivation strategies.Experience collaborating with email or lifecycle marketing teams, including alignment of paid media and customer messaging.Ability to balance brand sensitivity with performance goals in a fashion-focused environment.Strong communication skills and confidence working across agencies, marketing, creative, and internal leadership.An eye for creative performance and asset needs, with the ability to provide clear input on what will support stronger digital results.Interest in fashion and an appreciation for brand storytelling within a performance-driven marketing framework.This is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY.
