We are currently looking for a Director US Strategy Marketing in the United States.This role is a senior strategic leadership position responsible for shaping brand direction, driving annual planning cycles, and ensuring strong alignment between commercial execution and long-term growth objectives. You will act as a key architect of brand strategy, translating complex market insights, competitive intelligence, and financial inputs into actionable plans that guide decision-making at the highest level. The position plays a critical role in orchestrating cross-functional collaboration across marketing, analytics, finance, and field teams to ensure cohesive execution of brand priorities. You will also lead competitive readiness efforts and support enterprise-level planning processes, including forecasting and operating plans. Operating in a fast-paced, highly collaborative pharmaceutical environment, you will influence senior stakeholders and help shape strategic responses to evolving market dynamics. This role combines analytical rigor, commercial insight, and leadership influence to drive measurable brand impact.AccountabilitiesLead the annual brand planning process, defining strategic priorities, aligning cross-functional objectives, and ensuring execution readiness.Partner with analytics teams to develop, refine, and validate forecasts aligned with market assumptions and strategic initiatives.Drive competitive readiness assessments and translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations.Oversee brand budget management, including forecasting, tracking, and identifying financial risks and opportunities.Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process in collaboration with Finance and ensure alignment with brand strategy and ROI goals.Develop and deliver executive-level communications and presentations for leadership forums, sales meetings, and internal stakeholders.Translate complex market and brand strategies into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.Partner with cross-functional marketing teams to ensure integrated execution across promotional, patient, digital, and field initiatives.Lead and support high-priority strategic initiatives initiated by senior leadership, ensuring structured execution and alignment across teams.RequirementsBachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, or PhD) preferred.7-10+ years of marketing experience, with 10+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare-related commercial roles strongly preferred.Strong background in brand strategy, competitive intelligence, and market shaping initiatives.Experience in hematology or other highly competitive therapeutic areas is a plus.Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment without direct authority.Strong analytical skills with experience integrating market research, data insights, and field feedback into strategy.Excellent communication and storytelling abilities tailored to executive and field audiences.Strong financial acumen, including budget management and ROI-driven decision-making.Ability to manage complex, fast-moving strategic initiatives in a matrixed environment.Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, and strong presentation development skills.Willingness to travel approximately 25%, including potential international travel.BenefitsCompetitive annual salary range: $187,100 - $247,100.Eligibility for annual bonus and incentive compensation plans depending on role type.Equity participation through discretionary stock awards and employee stock purchase program.Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision.Retirement savings plan (401k) with additional financial benefits.Paid time off and wellness programs supporting work-life balance.Flexible remote work model within the United States.Exposure to high-impact strategic leadership initiatives within a global pharmaceutical environment.Strong focus on professional development, continuous learning, and leadership growth opportunities.How Jobgether WorksWe use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
