If you are a seasoned, highly strategic and solution-oriented operations professional with deep experience in the beauty industry and deep experience working with both Brick & Mortar Wholesale and eCommerce platforms... we would love to meet you!The OpportunityWe’re looking for a strategic and growth-minded, yet scrappy and hand-on leader to oversee digital marketing and ecommerce performance for a fast-growing beauty brand- from first impression through repeat purchase. This role will lead holistic digital growth strategy across paid media, affiliate, Amazon 1P, and DTC, while partnering closely with our retail sales team to support Sephora.com growth and alignment across our broader digital ecosystem. You’ll also play a key role in optimizing site experience- ensuring that traffic driven through paid media converts while delivering a best-in-class brand experience.The ideal candidate blends paid media expertise with strong business acumen, thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and is equally comfortable driving high-level strategy and day-to-day operational execution. This role sits at the intersection of brand, performance, and customer lifecycle, responsible for not only acquiring customers but building lasting relationships with them. Just as importantly, in close partnership with marketing and creative, you’ll ensure everything we put into market feels unmistakably dae.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead Full-Funnel Paid Media, Affiliate & Growth MarketingPartner closely with agency to create and execute holistic paid media strategies to drive brand business goals, including performance, testing, optimization, and reportingOwn paid media and affiliate across awareness, acquisition, conversion, retention, and reengagement, ensuring alignment between Amazon 1P, Sephora.com, & DTC prioritiesLead paid media’s role in driving awareness and cultural relevance, balancing upper- and lower-funnel investment to drive both brand equity and efficient growthBuild strategies that generate new demand and introduce the brand to new audiences leveraging paid social, YouTube, search, as well as new and emerging platformsTranslate brand campaigns, launches, and organic/social moments into scaled paid distributionAnalyze channel performance, attribution, CAC, ROAS, MER, LTV, and customer trends to inform investment decisionsOversee paid content and creative strategy in partnership with brand, integrated marketing, and creative teams to ensure consistency across touchpoints, while optimizing for channel best practicesEnsure paid media traffic is directed to optimized landing experiences tailored to campaign objectives and audience intent Digital Channel Business Growth, Experience, & Performance, Prioritizing 1P AmazonOversee Amazon and DTC channel performance across budget, forecasting, reporting, operations, merchandising, and onsite experienceDrive revenue growth, advertising efficiency, assortment strategy, and content optimizationMonitor the competitive landscape and identify growth opportunities within digital channels, prioritizing Amazon and retailer.comPartner cross-functionally with Brand/Product Marketing, Creative, and Integrated Marketing Communications on product launches, promotional strategy, CRM, and lifecycle marketing initiativesDrive site optimization strategy focused on conversion, AOV, customer journey, and retention, ensuring best-in-class consumer experience across desktop and mobileContinuously test and optimize key conversion drivers including PDPs, bundles, offers, and navigationEnsure a seamless connection between paid media, landing pages, and on-site experience to maximize conversion and ensure cohesive customer journeyDrive Holistic Digital Channel Strategy & Cross-Functional PartnershipOperate digital channels with a full-business mindset across sales performance, profitability, KPIs, paid media, and budget allocationPartner closely with retail sales team to support Sephora e-commerce growth strategies and ensure cross-channel alignmentContribute to holistic digital marketing and media planning across Amazon, DTC, and key retail partners including SephoraCollaborate with finance, sales, and marketing teams to ensure strong operational execution and visibility into business performance CRM & Customer RetentionOwn CRM strategy including email, SMS, and retention programs holistically across Amazon and DTC channelsDevelop customer journey strategies that drive engagement, repeat purchase behavior, loyalty, and customer lifetime valuePartner with Brand/Product Marketing & Integrated Marketing Communications teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpointsMonitor lifecycle performance metrics including retention, repeat rate, engagement, and LTV Team ManagementDirectly manage and develop two team members across digital marketing and ecommerce functionsFoster a high-performance, collaborative, and entrepreneurial team cultureHelp build scalable processes, workflows, and capabilities to support continued business growth Qualifications10+ years of experience in digital marketing, Amazon, ecommerce, and growth leadership, preferably within beauty, fashion, or consumer brandsStrong understanding of Amazon 1P, prestige retailer and digital marketing ecosystems.
