Marketing Manager
Senior Marketing ManagerAdvaita Bio uses AI and data science to accelerate breakthrough discoveries in biomedical research and drug development. We work with world-renowned scientists tackling game-changing problems in life sciences — helping them understand diseases, improve patient outcomes, and develop new treatments. As a rapidly growing company, we’re expanding our team to support new and existing customers. We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join us.As Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll own the strategy and execution that fills the pipeline across our full product suite — iPathwayGuide (the industry standard for pathway analysis) and iSCanGuide (no-code single-cell and spatial transcriptomics). These tools are trusted by top pharmaceutical companies and research universities worldwide, cited in thousands of peer-reviewed papers. Your job is to make sure the scientists who need them can find them.Whether you’ve built marketing programs at a life sciences software company or cut your teeth in technical B2B marketing and are ready for a bigger stage, you know how to reach highly educated scientific buyers. You’re equally comfortable on a conference floor and in a dashboard optimizing ad spend. You don’t just generate leads — you build the systems that generate them.Maybe you’re at a company where marketing is disconnected from science and you’re tired of selling something you can’t believe in. Maybe you’re ready to own marketing outright — real budget, real autonomy, and the mandate to run it your way. This is a builder’s role: you’ll set the strategy and execute it yourself, multiplying your output with AI and a digital agency rather than a roster of direct reports. Either way, you want to build something that matters. What You’ll DoField Marketing & EventsOwn the conference strategy: Execute our presence at major industry events (Bio-IT World, ASHG,ABRF, etc.). Move beyond booth logistics to drive traffic through pre-show campaigns and on-site activations that convert.Secure the speaking slots: Coordinate with our science team to land and promote technical presentations that showcase our Impact Analysis methodology — building credibility with the exact buyers we’re targeting.Run regional roadshows: Organize targeted seminars at key research hubs — Boston/Cambridge, San Diego, Research Triangle — that put us in the room with the right scientists.Digital Growth & Demand GenerationBuild the webinar program: Launch and manage a quarterly high-impact webinar series. Work with our internal PhDs to craft compelling narratives, drive registration through email and social, and convert attendees into demos.Paid media: Manage budget across LinkedIn Ads (targeting Pharma R&D titles) and Google Search (high-intent keywords). Track CAC, optimize for time-to-meeting, and report clearly on what’s working. Partner with our digital marketing agency on execution.Convert the website: Optimize Advaita’s landing pages to turn scientific traffic into software trials and grant support requests.Content & AwarenessBuild the content engine: Produce a steady stream of credible, scientifically literate content — technical blogs, application notes, social, and thought leadership — using AI to scale volume without sacrificing rigor.Own awareness: Grow our brand and share of voice in our categories, including visibility in AI and LLM-powered search, where our buyers increasingly begin their research.Product Marketing & Sales EnablementTranslate science into sales: Work with the product team to turn complex capabilities — single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, topology analysis, variant interpretation — into value propositions that resonate with scientific buyers (reducing false positives, accelerating time-to-insight).Arm the sales team: Develop case studies, white papers, and competitive battle cards that position us clearly against free tools like DAVID/GSEA and legacy competitors like IPA.What You BringAI-native operator: You treat AI as a force multiplier, not a talking point. You already use LLMs and AI tooling to draft content, run and analyze campaigns, synthesize research, and do the work of a larger team as one person — and you’re eager to push that further. We’re betting on it.Scientific fluency: You don’t need a PhD, but you can read a scientific abstract and immediately understand the customer’s pain point. You’re comfortable presenting to and marketing at PhD-level scientists and PIs.Hands-on builder: You’re equally comfortable working a conference booth and digging into Google Analytics to optimize ad spend. You execute, you don’t delegate. This is an individual-contributor role for the foreseeable future — your leverage comes from AI and sharp prioritization, not headcount.Demand gen expertise: You know how to build and run programs that generate pipeline — events, webinars, paid media, content — and you measure what matters.Narrative instinct: You can take complex technical differentiation and craft messaging that cuts through — making it obvious why Advaita beats the free alternative.Growth mindset: You’re excited by the challenge of scaling a proven product to a much larger audience — and you know that takes creativity, discipline, and a willingness to test and learn.Qualifications5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within life sciences, biotech, or pharma softwareDemonstrated ability to build and manage multi-channel demand generation programsExperience marketing complex software to highly educated technical buyersProficiency in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), marketing automation, and webinar platformsExperience managing a meaningful marketing budget with accountability to pipeline metricsA degree in biology, genetics, bioinformatics, or a related field would be an advantageExperience marketing bioinformatics tools or NGS services would be an advantageWhy AdvaitaYou’ll receive competitive compensation including base salary, performance bonus tied to pipeline revenue, equity, comprehensive health benefits, and a 401(k). More importantly, you’ll market technology that is proven, published, and genuinely trusted by the world’s leading researchers — with the capital, mandate, and team to now scale it. This is a rare opportunity to own growth at a company with real product-market fit and a mission that directly accelerates drug discovery and disease research.
