This is a hands-on role responsible for driving awareness, audience growth, customer engagement, and revenue across our core business pillars: Live Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Wine, Membership, and Private Events. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution, understands the Boston market, knows how to build audiences and relationships, and uses data to continually improve performance.Why us? Competitive payWe are a rapidly expanding national entertainment and hospitality company, offering tremendous opportunities for driven and ambitious individuals.Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance nDORFins program designed to promote a healthy and active lifestyle!401K (and yes we match!)Flexible Savings Accounts,HSA and Dependent Care, Basic Life and AD&D Insurance Amazing discounts, 50% OFF all dining/retail wine Free Family MealTickets to available showsAnd more!Overview of ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Revenue GrowthDevelop and execute integrated local marketing plans that drive ticket sales, restaurant traffic, wine and membership engagement, private event leads, and overall brand awareness.Build 360-degree campaigns across email, social media, digital advertising, partnerships, PR, radio, print, grassroots promotion, and in-venue marketing.Maintain the local marketing calendar and identify opportunities to cross-promote City Winery’s entertainment, dining, wine, membership, and private event experiences.Monitor performance and adjust marketing activity based on ticket sales, customer behavior, campaign results, and business priorities.Entertainment & Audience DevelopmentDevelop targeted campaigns for concerts and ticketed programming in partnership with Programming and the national Marketing team.Identify artist-specific audiences, affinity groups, cultural organizations, media partners, and communities that can help expand reach and drive ticket sales.Maintain strong visibility for City Winery programming across relevant local media, event calendars, tourism organizations, and community partners.Digital, Email & SocialPartner with the Digital Marketing team on targeted email campaigns, audience segmentation, database growth, customer acquisition, and retention.Manage Boston’s local social presence and develop compelling, locally relevant content across key platforms.Capture and coordinate photo and video content showcasing artists, concerts, wine, food, special events, and the overall City Winery experience.Use performance data and customer insights to continually improve digital marketing effectiveness.Partnerships, PR & Community EngagementBuild relationships with Boston-area businesses, cultural organizations, universities, hotels and concierges, tourism partners, media, influencers, creators, and community organizations.Develop strategic partnerships and promotional opportunities that introduce City Winery to new audiences and generate measurable business value.Work with City Winery’s PR resources to identify compelling local stories, media opportunities, and partnerships around artists, events, wine, food, and hospitality.Partner with Food & Beverage, Wine, Membership, and Private Events teams to promote dining, culinary programming, tastings, wine experiences, memberships, corporate events, weddings, and celebrations.Ensure Boston’s website content, listings, promotional materials, and customer-facing marketing are current, compelling, and consistent with the City Winery brand.Collaboration & Market IntelligenceWork closely with the General Manager, Programming, Digital Marketing, Creative Services, Private Events, Food & Beverage, Box Office, and Operations to align around priorities and business objectives.Stay current on Boston’s entertainment, hospitality, restaurant, tourism, and cultural landscape and identify emerging audiences, partnerships, and competitive opportunities.Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador for City Winery within the Boston community.Minimum Qualifications3–5+ years of marketing experience, ideally within live entertainment, hospitality,restaurants, cultural organizations, lifestyle brands, or experiential businesses.Strong knowledge of the Greater Boston market and its music, cultural, hospitality,media, tourism, and community landscape.Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketingcampaigns.Strong understanding of digital marketing, email, social media, audience segmentation,paid media, and campaign analytics.Ability to interpret ticket sales, customer behavior, and marketing performance data andtranslate insights into action.Experience developing partnerships and relationships with businesses, communityorganizations, media, influencers, and other external stakeholders.Strong writing, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-pacedenvironment.Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.Ability to work occasional nights and weekends around concerts, events, and businessneeds.Entrepreneurial, collaborative, curious, and genuinely enthusiastic about live music,hospitality, food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences.About UsWine, food, and live entertainment collide at City Winery to create a dynamic and incredibly unique workplace.
