This role requires real-world, hands-on marketing experience and is responsible for generating qualified leads that meet defined lead goals and cost-per-lead targets, while strengthening our brand across multiple channels.You’ll build systems, create processes, collaborate closely with teams, and continuously refine what works best. This role also represents Fortress in the community—through events, networking, and face-to-face opportunities to connect with homeowners and partners.What You’ll DoDevelop and execute an annual marketing plan across a wide variety of channels and mediums with a focus on lowest cost per lead and highest intentGenerate, track, and optimize leads based on company lead goals and CPL allocationsOversee and optimize Google Business Profile, website performance, SEO, and local presenceManage and evaluate lead quality, attribution, and ROIUnderstand and manage lead aggregators and third-party lead sourcesCreate, write, and manage marketing content across platforms (web, social, email, print, etc.)Lead brand management, ensuring consistency in messaging, visuals, and voicePlan, coordinate, and attend community events, networking opportunities, home shows, and trade eventsSupport and manage public relations efforts and local partnershipsUnderstand social media platforms, engagement strategies, and performance metricsCollaborate with internal teams to support company initiatives and growthBuild, document, and implement marketing processes and programs based on company needsContinuously test, learn, and improve marketing strategiesWhat We’re Looking ForProven, real-life marketing experience in a marketing manager or similar role (hands-on execution required)Strong understanding of lead generation strategy, performance marketing, and CPL managementExperience using Salesforce specifically as a CRMGoogle Lead Generation knowledge is a requirement (Local Services Ads, paid search, tracking, optimization)Strategic oversight of Google Ads, LSAs, and SEOExperience managing websites, Google Business Profiles, and digital marketing platformsExcellent writing skills with a strong grasp of brand voice and storytellingSolid understanding of social media platforms and audience engagementComfortable representing the company in the community and enjoys networking and relationship-buildingAbility to analyze data, interpret results, and make informed decisionsHighly organized with flawless attention to detailSelf-motivated, adaptable, and always ready to learnEnjoys collaboration and being part of a teamThrives in an “all hands on deck” environmentBonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus)Graphic design knowledge (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)Photography and/or videography skillsExperience in home services or local service-based industriesFamiliarity with CRM systems, call tracking, and marketing automation toolsWhy You’ll Love Working HereYou’ll have real ownership and influence over marketing strategy and resultsYou’ll work with a team that values growth, collaboration, and creativityYou’ll help grow a brand that’s deeply connected to its communityWe’re committed to continuous improvement, learning, and doing things the right way
