This role will own messaging, campaigns, and content targeting municipalities, consulting engineers, and manufacturer representatives, while translating Komline’s technical capabilities into clear, market-relevant value propositions.This is a market-facing role that works closely with sales, channel partners, and engineering teams to drive demand, strengthen our position with consulting engineers, and improve effectiveness of our manufacturer representative network.Special Mention: This is a 5 day a week in person role, located, in our beautiful Dupont Circle, Washington, D.C. office. Agencies and contractors will not be considered.Responsibilities:Market Strategy & PositioningDevelop comprehensive marketing strategies for municipal market segments, including municipalities, local government entities, consulting engineers, and channel partnersDefine messaging, positioning, and value proposition for municipal solutionsDevelop Commercial Insights relevant to municipal customers and engineering firmsAct as the voice of the market by engaging with customers, reps, and engineersMonitor emerging trends and the competitive landscape to refine marketing strategy, positioning and messaging.Channel Enablement:Build and deploy marketing programs that support manufacturer reps and channel partnersDevelop sales enablement tools, e.g., presentations, case studies, application guides, etc.Improve how Rep firms position Komline solutions in the fieldCampaign & Content LeadershipLead development of targeted campaigns aligned to municipal prioritiesCreate key content (case studies, application briefs, technical content)Cross-functional AlignmentWork closely with sales, engineering, and product teamsEnsure messaging reflects real capabilities and customer outcomesManage the budget for all integrated campaigns, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and strong return on investmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field, MBA preferred5+ years of marketing experience in a business-to-business environmentManufacturing industry experience preferred.Strong understanding of multi-channel campaign development, e.g., email, print, social and digital advertising, SEO/SEMPortfolio of interactive campaigns, e.g., theme, design, content, and ROIExcellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong communication, collaborative mindset, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teamsBonus.
