With over 130 locations across California and Arizona, we aim to blend the culture and “aloha” spirit of Hawaii into our restaurants, bringing a taste of the islands with exceptional service in an inviting atmosphere.Job Overview:Ono Hawaiian BBQ is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing team with a special focus on leveraging big data analytics to enhance brand strategy, customer engagement, and marketing performance. This role will require someone with restaurant industry experience, an analytical mindset, and the ability to manage projects and agencies. As a critical part of the marketing leadership, you will be responsible for driving data-driven marketing initiatives that align with the brand's mission to bring Hawaiian-inspired cuisine to our customers.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Brand & Campaign ManagementDevelop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, and in-store channelsMaintain brand consistency and voice across all consumer touchpointsManage seasonal promotions, LTO (limited time offer) launches, and menu feature campaigns from concept through executionAnalyze marketing performance metrics and ROI to optimize campaign effectivenessStay current on restaurant industry trends and emerging digital marketing opportunitiesDigital & Social MediaOversee all social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X), including content planning, community management, and performance reportingPartner with content creators and influencers aligned with the Ono Hawaiian BBQ brand ethosManage paid digital advertising campaigns (Meta, Google, TikTok Ads) to drive traffic and awarenessPlan email marketing programs including list growth, segmentation, and campaign performanceLocal Store Marketing (LSM)Develop local marketing toolkits and support operations with grand opening strategies, neighborhood outreach, and community eventsBuild partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to drive community presenceCoordinate catering and community marketing initiativesAnalytics & ReportingTrack and report on key marketing KPIs including traffic, digital engagement, campaign ROI, and comp sales impactUse data insights to optimize campaigns and inform future marketing investmentsManage digital marketing budget with a focus on efficiency and measurable returnCross-Functional CollaborationPartner closely with operations, culinary, and finance teams to align marketing initiatives with business goalsWork with external agencies, photographers, videographers, and vendors to produce high-quality creative assetsSupport new restaurant openings with pre-opening and grand opening marketing plansRequired4–7 years of marketing experience, preferably in restaurant, food & beverage, retail, or consumer brand environmentsProven track record managing multi-channel marketing campaigns end-to-endStrong understanding of social media platforms, paid digital advertising, and email/SMS marketing toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for creative qualityProficiency in marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, or similar)Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyCollaborative self-starter who contributes positively to team cultureResourceful and solutions-oriented, comfortable adopting new technologies and systems to optimize marketing performance and executionBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fieldPreferredExperience with fast-casual or multi-unit restaurant brandsBasic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite)Benefits:401(k) matching program to help you save for retirement.Comprehensive medical, dental, and Vision insurance for you and your dependents.Company Paid Life Insurance and Employee Assistance Program (E.A.P.).Generous PTO and Sick Time.Paid Holidays Company Perks:At Ono Hawaiian BBQ, we value our employees and strive to provide a positive work environment.
