This role is accountable for ensuring our digital experiences are brand‑consistent, compliant, discoverable, and optimized to drive measurable business outcomes, while partnering closely with Product to influence platform priorities through insights, requirements, and shared KPIs.This role bridges day‑to‑day digital marketing execution with strategic growth initiatives, overseeing the marketing lifecycle of web and app experiences—from content strategy, SEO/AEO/GEO, and campaign execution to optimization, governance, and performance measurement. The role serves as the marketing owner for web & app outcomes, ensuring consistency and scale.Key Responsibilities:Own the marketing strategy and roadmap for web and app experiences, ensuring alignment with brand standards, business priorities, and regional needsLead content strategy, publishing, and optimization across web and app, including UX copy & content, merchandising, accessibility, and complianceStewarding brand expression within the web and app design system, including visual identity, voice, content patterns, and UX standards in coordination with the Brand Communications Team.Providing marketing and brand requirements that inform the evolution of design system components, templates, and patternsDefine and execute SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies, optimizing content and structure for traditional search, answer engines, and generative AI platformsOwn marketing analytics and performance measurement, defining KPIs, dashboards, and insights related to traffic quality, engagement, and conversionDrive experimentation and optimization across marketing‑owned journeys (landing pages, CTAs, forms, content flows, advertising modals) in partnership with broader Marketing, Product and EngineeringServe as the central marketing partner to Product, IT, and agencies to ensure marketing needs are translated into clear requirements and prioritized appropriately for digital consumer facing technology.What You’ll Need:Core experience & capabilityBachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience leading marketing outcomes for complex, high‑traffic web and/or app experiences in a national or multi‑region environmentDemonstrated success driving brand‑consistent, high‑performing digital experiences across multiple business units, markets, or audiences through content, discoverability, and optimizationDeep expertise in SEO, AEO, GEO, and content performance, including hands‑on experience with on‑page optimization, content structures optimized for search and generative platforms, and organic growth strategies tied to measurable business outcomesStrong analytical and experimentation mindset, with proven experience using platforms such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, and A/B testing tools to deliver data‑backed improvements in engagement and conversionProven ability to operate as a senior cross‑functional partner, influencing Content, Design, Product, IT, Development, and Data teams through clear requirements, insights, and recommendationsExperience developing and governing content strategies for consumer and B2B audiences, with the ability to translate complex topics into high‑impact, discoverable digital experiences while maintaining brand standards, accessibility, privacy, and regulatory complianceWhat Will Set You ApartExperience in automotive, franchise, or multi‑location retail environmentsCertifications or advanced training in SEO, AEO, GEO, or related disciplinesStrong program and initiative leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast‑paced environmentsWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, accessibility, and usability principles sufficient to partner effectively with Product and Engineering (not to act as a developer or platform owner)Experience defining audiences, segments, and web personas to inform content and journey designComfort managing budgets, forecasting impact, and tying digital performance to business outcomesExperience supporting ecommerce or online‑to‑offline conversion journeysWe Take Care of the WHOLE YouHealth insurance plans (medical, dental, vision)HSA and flexible spending accounts401(k)Incentive opportunity*Life insuranceShort and long-term disability insurancePaid vacation and holidays*Employee Assistance ProgramValvoline Instant Oil Change discountsTuition reimbursement*Adoption assistance* *Terms and conditions apply, and benefits may differ depending on position.
