Job Description:We're placing the first dedicated Performance Marketer at a Kleiner Perkins-backed AI startup in Downtown SF. $7.8M Seed Round, Product is live, Customers include teams at some of the fastest-growing AI companies right now. The paid engine needs to be built, and we need this person to build it.This is a zero-to-one (0-1) seat. You own Meta and Google end-to-end from day one, must have experience with both and must have experience owning this responsibility before.What you'll own:Meta Ads as the primary channel: account structure, campaign setup, pixel and CAPI instrumentation, audience strategy, and ongoing optimizationGoogle Ads as a strong secondary channel: Search and Performance Max with clean tracking and UTM hygieneCreative testing at volume: 20+ new ad concepts per month across statics, video, and UGC-style hooksFull-funnel reporting: own CAC, ROAS, and LTV measurement and translate data into the next experiment and budget callBuild the engine from early paid tests to repeatable, scalable acquisition over 2-3 monthsWhat we're looking for:2-4 years of hands-on paid acquisition experience, primarily at an early-stage B2B or PLG startupReal Meta Ads ownership: you've been the person in the account, not someone who briefed an agencyA case study you can walk through: a product you helped take from early traction to meaningful paid scale with Meta as the lead channelStrong command of event optimization and instrumentation from scratchGoogle Ads experience as a second channel: Search and Performance MaxBased in San Francisco. This role is 5 days onsite to startCompensation: $130k-$160k base + equity. Flexible for the right person.Interview process: 4 rounds, moving quickly.
