We believe that when people feel respected and included they can be more creative, innovative, and successful.Role DescriptionWe’re seeking a Performance Marketing Strategist to support paid social media efforts across the Performance Marketing team. This role will play a key part in driving revenue growth through data-driven campaign strategy, strong creative instincts, and cross-functional collaboration. Leveraging Bullwhip’s proprietary technology and performance insights, this role will help develop scalable, differentiated marketing strategiesThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, preferably within e-commerce, affiliate, or performance-driven media environments. They understand what makes effective creative, can partner closely with creative teams to develop and iterate on assets, and ideally have experience building or briefing creatives themselves.In this role, you’ll work closely with internal account teams, as well as external client partners, to launch and optimize campaigns, manage high volumes of concurrent initiatives, analyze performance data, and ensure deliverables are executed successfully. Strong communication, organization, and client management skills are essential.While the team is based in the NYC area, this is a remote US-based role, with preference for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone.Day-to-day Role:Leverage Bullwhip’s proprietary technology to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions for clientsManage a portfolio of paid social campaigns, proactively optimizing performance to meet and exceed client goals and KPIsScale and optimize campaigns across major social platforms to drive efficient customer acquisition for e-commerce content and merchant partnersPartner closely with creative and editorial teams to develop, test, and iterate on ad creative, messaging, and landing page experiencesAnalyze campaign performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations across targeting, creative, bidding, and funnel strategyManage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentCollaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows, automate processes, and identify operational efficienciesBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external client partners through clear communication and reliable executionPrepare performance reporting and communicate campaign insights, results, and strategic recommendations to clients and internal teamsExperience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Business, or a related field2–3 years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, preferably within e-commerce, affiliate marketing, commerce media, or performance-driven environmentsStrong understanding of paid social platforms and campaign management processes, particularly within Meta Ads Manager (experience with Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, or other paid channels is a plus)Experience analyzing campaign performance data and translating insights into optimization strategies and actionable recommendationsStrong understanding of paid social creative best practices, including ad formats, messaging, hooks, and testing methodologiesFamiliarity with creative and design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and FigmaHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across creative, editorial, account management, and client teamsExperience in a client-facing role or presenting performance insights to external partners is a plusBonus:Experience developing creative briefs, concepting ad creative, or collaborating directly on asset productionExperience with affiliate tracking/reporting platformsExperience working in fast-paced media or publisher environmentsComfort with spreadsheets/data analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, Tableau, etc.)Benefits & Compensation:The yearly base salary range for this role is $70,000–$80,000, plus a quarterly bonus plan based on individual and company performance.
