Regional Marketing Manager (Bipolar Discrete Semiconductors) – GermanyBasic InformationLocation: GermanyBusiness Scope: Full regional marketing ownership for the European automotive and industrial markets, covering major automotive Tier-1 suppliers and industrial customers across Europe.Core Products: Bipolar discrete semiconductor portfolio, including Bipolar Transistors, Diodes, Thyristors, Digital Transistors, and related bipolar discrete devices.Position OverviewBased in Germany, the Regional Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving regional marketing strategy, product roadmap alignment, and business growth for the bipolar discrete semiconductor product portfolio across Europe.This role serves as a bridge between global product management, regional sales and technical teams, and key European customers. The successful candidate will support product adoption, design-in activities, market intelligence collection, and strategic business development initiatives to increase market share and revenue in the automotive and industrial sectors.Key Responsibilities1. Regional Marketing Strategy & Product Planning• Develop and execute regional marketing strategies for the European automotive and industrial markets based on customer needs, application trends, and market developments.• Translate regional customer requirements into actionable product roadmap recommendations for global product teams.• Define annual marketing plans, product promotion strategies, and pricing guidance for the European market.2. Customer Engagement & Design-in Support• Support key automotive and industrial customers through technical marketing activities, including product presentations, technical seminars, workshops, and training sessions.• Collaborate with regional Sales, Key Account Management, and Field Application Engineering teams to accelerate design-in opportunities and project wins.• Monitor long-term customer platform developments and provide market feedback to support future product planning.3. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis• Analyze market trends, emerging applications, industry regulations, and technology developments within the European semiconductor ecosystem.• Monitor competitor product portfolios, pricing strategies, market positioning, and customer engagement activities.• Provide regular market intelligence reports and strategic recommendations to support business planning and product strategy.4. Pricing & Portfolio Management• Support regional pricing decisions by balancing competitiveness, customer requirements, and profitability objectives.• Identify portfolio optimization opportunities and promote new-generation, high-value products in target markets.• Assist in lifecycle management activities, including product transition and obsolescence planning.5. Cross-Functional Collaboration• Maintain close communication with global product management, engineering, sales, and operations teams.• Align regional market requirements with global business objectives and support the execution of worldwide marketing initiatives.• Facilitate effective communication between regional customers and internal stakeholders.Qualifications• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Automotive Electronics, Marketing, or a related discipline.• Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor marketing, product marketing, technical marketing, or business development.• Strong understanding of bipolar discrete semiconductor technologies, including bipolar transistors, diodes, thyristors, and related devices.• Familiarity with automotive electronics, industrial automation, power management, and related application areas.• Experience working with European automotive Tier-1 suppliers, OEMs, distributors, or industrial customers is highly preferred.• Strong market analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional communication skills.• Fluent English communication skills; German language capability is an advantage.• Willingness to travel within Europe as required.
