Senior SEO Manager - European Markets

🚀 About the role

We’re looking for an SEO Manager to join Better Collective and help us drive organic growth and search performance across highly competitive European markets.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with international teams and contribute to building products and experiences at the intersection of sports, media, betting, and technology.

You will be working with one of our flagship European platforms, managing high-traffic websites (50K+ indexed pages and hundreds of weekly publications) within the iGaming sector.

🌍 Location: Paris, Copenhagen, or London (hybrid model).

🎯 What you’ll do

• Define and drive the complete SEO strategy (technical, on-page, and off-page) for European markets

• Build and execute an SEO roadmap in collaboration with content and development teams

• Analyze SERPs, competitors, and market trends to identify growth opportunities

• Conduct technical audits (crawl, indexation, performance, logs) and prioritize improvements

• Optimize keyword strategy, internal linking, and netlinking efforts

• Monitor performance (traffic, rankings, conversions) and provide actionable insights

• Collaborate with UX, CRO, and product teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented

• Promote a test-and-learn approach to continuously improve performance

🧠 What we’re looking for

Must-have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO (technical and strategic)

• Fluent English

• Strong experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, etc.)

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills

• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Experience managing high-traffic websites, migrations, or redesigns

• Strong understanding of E-E-A-T principles and SEO in competitive environments

• Awareness of AI developments in search (SGE, Generative AI)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Discover and/or Top Stories

• Experience in iGaming or other highly competitive industries
