We're proud of what we're building and we have a lot of fun doing it.Role in a Nutshell We’re looking for a creative powerhouse to help build the Gutzy community and drive real brand love. You live and breathe social media marketing, content strategy, and culture, with a fresh perspective on what makes people want to engage with brands today. Instagram and TikTok are your home base. You know exactly how to work a comment section, slide into DMs with style, and act as the ultimate hype person for our growing "friends of gutzy" network (creators, ambassadors, and like minded brands).You also understand that community exists far beyond the feed, and you’re genuinely excited to explore all of its expressions, both online and IRL. We need someone high energy, fiercely proactive, and full of fun, surprising, and unexpected ideas that will help Gutzy stand out in the clutter and noise.What You'll Own Brand Voice & Identity: You’re the keeper of the Gutzy personality. You’ll define and protect the brand’s tone, attitude, and voice across all channels — creating clear guardrails for both our internal team and agency partners so that every touchpoint feels unmistakably Gutzy.Community Building: You know exactly how to captivate the right audience, make them feel valued, and turn everyday interactions into fierce brand loyalty. You’ll serve as our internal champion for community, educating the broader team on its impact and elevating real consumer stories and interactions to keep our audience at the heart of everything we do.Social Media Strategy & Platform Expertise: You have a strong POV on content strategy and how to make it uniquely Gutzy. You know how to balance trend-jacking with net-new ideas that drive "edutainment" and position Gutzy as the undisputed leader in the fiber space. You keep a tight pulse on algorithm shifts and new features on Instagram and TikTok, driving how we pivot to stay ahead.Agency Partnership: You’ll own the day-to-day management of our Organic Social Media & Content Agency. As a true creative collaborator, you’ll work hand-in-hand with them to co-ideate on assets, flag trends or cultural moments in real time, hold them accountable to KPIs, and push for continuous improvement.Reporting & Results: You keep all workstreams moving, hit near-in goals, and stay oriented toward long-term brand building. You treat social like a lab — testing, learning, and pivoting based on what the data tell you — and you know how to report back to the business on what’s working and why.UGC, Creator Management & Ambassadors: You’ll build and manage a roster of UGC content creators and brand ambassadors. You know how to spot a great, on-brand creator, brief them in with clarity, and get strong, authentic, approachable content back that actually performs.Sampling & Fulfillment Logistics: You’ll serve as the internal "warehouse," owning the hands-on execution of sending product, swag, and coupons directly to our creators and brand partners, ensuring they have exactly what they need to champion the brand.Partnerships & Giveaways: You’ll field all inbound partnership inquiries, evaluate them, and report back to the team with recommendations. You’ll also proactively source brand partnerships and execute giveaways that acquire new fans.Trend & Culture Radar: You marry a deep understanding of consumer insights with a sharp pulse on culture—both digital (meme humor, trends) and IRL (pop-ups, collaborations). You use this to spot organic opportunities to embed Gutzy into these spaces, reaching our audience in unique, memorable ways that always feel authentic, never forced.Content Creation: You’re comfortable getting scrappy with content. You can jump on CapCut or Canva to produce lo-fi assets on the fly. Bonus points (preferred, not required) if you’re comfortable in front of the camera and can make fun, lo-fi content of yourself or the team.What We're Looking ForThe Track Record: 3–5 years of experience in Social Media Management and/or Community Management (BFY/ Food & Beverage CPG strongly preferred) with a proven track record of scaling highly engaged, modern communities from the ground up.The Community Champion: Masters the radical empathy and consistent brand voice required to nurture our community, ensuring every interaction feels familiar, valued, and intentional.The Partnership Pro: Experience managing UGC creators and ambassador programs, as well as holding external agency partners accountable.The Culture Scout: Tight pulse on social trends and culture, with the ability to spot opportunities early and proactively bring creative ideas to the table.The Doer: Resourceful, scrappy, and energized by a lean environment where they can make an immediate impact—always ready to roll up their sleeves and support across all owned touchpoints where needed.Last but not least: you're a little Gutzy yourself. You challenge the status quo, take smart risks, and love a good zig when the world is zagging. If you've got the experience and the drive to match, we'd love to hear from you.Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $100,000–$135,000 based on experience.Bonus: Eligible for an annual performance bonus based on company and individual operational performance.Health coverage: We offer a generous monthly reimbursement (ICHRA) toward your personal health insurance premiums — you choose the plan that fits you best, and we cover the cost up to a defined limit.Paid time off: 25 days annually, plus company holidays.Location: This position is fully remote.
