This role is open in two locations — San Francisco/Bay Area and Toronto/Montreal — with each location focused on a distinct segment: the Bay Area role is dedicated to the North American Startup ecosystem, while the Canada role is focused on Industry/Vertical & Public Sector marketing across Canada.In both roles, you will own the planning and execution of targeted campaigns and events — including owned events and third-party sponsorships — to drive pipeline and lead generation for Google Cloud. You will position Google Cloud and Google DeepMind as the preferred AI technology partner for your segment, partnering with global and regional stakeholders across Sales, Global Campaigns, Regional Marketing, and Partner Marketing to define and deliver go-to-market strategies that accelerate awareness and adoption of key Cloud solutions.Solutions you will be promoting include AI Studio, Vertex Platform, App Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, and more. This is a high-impact, multi-faceted role that requires wearing multiple hats — from strategy to hands-on execution — and thrives with candidates who bring startup agility and enterprise experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the development and execution of segment-focused marketing programs and events (both owned and third-party) to generate leads, pipeline, and opportunities across the US and Canada.Lead end-to-end event logistics including AV production, vendor management, invitations, catering, transportation, speaker coordination, signage/shipping, and onsite execution across pre-, during, and post-event phases.Project-manage integrated campaign and event delivery by coordinating timelines, stakeholders, budgets, and agencies/vendors to ensure high-quality, on-time execution.Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Global Campaigns, Regional Marketing, and Partner Marketing to align go-to-market activities with segment pipeline goals.Define and deliver GTM strategies that increase awareness and adoption of Google Cloud solutions among startup founders, CXOs, IT professionals, and business decision-makers.Track, analyze, and report on the results and impact of marketing activities — including leads, pipeline, and marketing-influenced revenue — using CRM and marketing automation tools, translating data into ROI insights and optimization recommendations.Bay Area Focus: Startup MarketingThe Bay Area-based manager will focus exclusively on the North American Startup segment, executing targeted campaigns and events to drive pipeline and lead generation among startup founders, CXOs, and developers across the US and Canada. You will play a pivotal role in positioning Google Cloud and Google DeepMind as the AI technology partner of choice for high-growth startups.Canada Focus: Industry & Vertical MarketingThe Canada-based manager (Toronto or Montreal) will focus on industry and vertical marketing programs across Canada, executing campaigns and events targeting IT professionals and business decision-makers in key verticals such as Financial Services, Retail, and Public Sector. This role serves as event lead for the majority of Google first- and third-party marketing events in Canada and requires the ability to engage senior Sales, Partner, and Solution leadership stakeholders. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $110,000 – $160,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.BenefitsAs a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plan in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave.
