Role Description The Vice President Marketing is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the overall marketing vision and strategy for Fintech Community. This position oversees brand positioning, campaign planning, and execution across digital, social, and event-focused channels, ensuring consistent messaging and measurable impact. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing market research, defining target audiences, developing marketing plans, managing budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support community growth and engagement. The role also involves guiding public relations initiatives, strengthening relationships with media and partners, and representing the organization at key industry events and stakeholder meetings. The Vice President Marketing will lead and mentor the marketing team, establish performance metrics, and continuously optimize programs based on data and feedback.QualificationsStrategic marketing leadership skills, including Marketing Management and Marketing, with experience shaping brand and go-to-market strategies.Market-focused capabilities such as Market Planning and Market Research to identify opportunities, segment audiences, and inform data-driven decisions.Public Relations expertise to manage media engagement, craft key messages, and enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation.Proven experience in senior marketing roles within fintech, technology, or related industries, ideally in community-based or membership organizations.Strong analytical skills, proficiency with marketing analytics tools, and the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to diverse stakeholder groups.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop distributed teams, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a remote work environment.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
