Role DescriptionIn collaboration with the Brand Marketing team, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for the development and successful execution of the Brand strategy for respective product lines. This role will act as the hub for their select Product Lines and Brands, and collaborate with Sales, Product Development, Operations, Digital Marketing and Marketing services, Creative services, and other cross-functional teams to achieve successful results.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for providing the forward-looking Brand strategy, leading, planning and executing all brand management, marketing and development activities for assigned Product Lines;Acting as the hub for select brands, this role will collaborate with Sales, Product Development, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to achieve successful results;Lead product commercialization process for assigned Product Lines/brands, ensuring integrity of product launch milestones; target cost/margins, while delivering market-relevant product solutions with a strong price/value perception;Identify growth opportunities and white space product/category opportunities to guide marketing and development teams;Lead line plan architecture, profit and loss management, asset development, content and digital programs;Create line plans, forecasts, and growth plans for assigned Product Lines;Create and manage marketing plans, budgets and analysis for all initiatives;Act as the Brand/Product ambassador;Key Liaison for licensor relationship for assigned Product Lines, maximizing partnership;Identify and recommend consumer-focused product marketing trends, competitive threats and new product and packaging opportunities and strategies to drive growth of new and existing product categories;Develop pitch tools to engage sales force and regularly communicate updates; andTranslate strategy into integrated marketing plans, campaign strategy, and consumer experience (media planning, PR, Digital, Social Media, etc.).QualificationsToy experience is a must; gaming experience is a plus;Creative and innovative, consistently producing new ideas, and approaches and insights for product and marketing strategy within the brands;Licensor centric and can identify and meet licensor needs, including communication for clarity and driving alignment;Be able to work cross-functionally with other departments and ensure Company objectives are being met;Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality and professionalism;Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presenting and communicating with impact;Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines; andTeam player.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is preferred;Masters degree in Marketing or related field is a plus;Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, preferably in toy industry;Minimum of five (5) years of marketing leadership experience;Experience in gaming, boy brands, and action figure categories;Proven leadership experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy;Experience in building brand awareness and recognition; andHigh proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.What We OfferCompetitive Base SalaryDiscretionary Performance Based BonusesMedical, Dental, Vision Benefits401kVacation and Holiday Time OffSalary Range: 185k-200k dependent on experienceHow to ApplySend your resume and a brief cover letter to [email protected] with the subject line: [Job Title] Application – [Your Name].
