ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGER (US)
Location: United States (New York preferred). Primarily remote with regular in-person travel for content shoots, brand activations, retail events, trade shows, and team collaboration.Reports to: Head of Marketing USABOUT GYMKHANA FINE FOODSGymkhana Fine Foods brings the exceptional flavours of the two-Michelin-star Gymkhana restaurant in Mayfair, London, to the home kitchen, redefining Indian cooking with a premium pantry collection of sauces, marinades, and chutneys.Over the past decade, Gymkhana has reshaped how the UK experiences Indian cuisine, maintaining its Michelin star and earning a second in 2024. Now, with the flagship restaurant open in Las Vegas, we’re building on that momentum to bring the taste of Gymkhana to kitchens across America.Backed by CAVU, world-class food & beverage investors, and following standout success in the UK (Whole Foods Market, Waitrose, Selfridges, and DTC), we are launching in the US across DTC and retail.THE ROLEThis is a foundational role on a small, ambitious team launching one of the UK’s most celebrated hospitality brands in the US. As Gymkhana Fine Foods enters the American market — and as the flagship Gymkhana restaurant opens up locations here, including Las Vegas last December — we’re looking for an agile marketer who is excited to roll up their sleeves and touch many channels.You’ll start with purview across the whole US business, thinking end to end — connecting brand, content, retail, ecommerce, and community to ultimately drive revenue. Executing upon the strategy set by our team and working alongside a collaborative UK team, you’ll focus on our most important growth levers: influencer casting and management, brand partnerships, digital media, PR, and experiential — with a front row seat to our most important brand advocates. This role will also get to touch so much more, from organic social to trade shows to launching Amazon or shopper programs. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who loves marketing but sees themselves as more than a marketer — someone eager to link different aspects of the business together and learn how a premium brand really grows. Here, no task is too small for anyone on our team, and no two weeks look alike.You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Head of US Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager, UK Gymkhana Fine Foods Team, and the JKS Restaurant Group team, and our wider marketing partners to ensure every post, partnership, and community moment matches our premium hospitality roots.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInfluencer Marketing and PartnershipsRun one-to-one, day-to-day creator relationships end to end — outreach, negotiation, briefing, content delivery, and reporting — within the strategy and creator tiers set by the team.Own the evergreen gifting engine: a steady drumbeat of thoughtful gifts a month to creators, chefs, restaurant guests, and cultural voices, plus campaign gifting around tentpole moments. Work with operations on development and implemntation of these programs.Track and report on influencer ROI and optimize the program based on performance data.Identify partnerships with complementary brands, creators, and cultural platforms that extend Gymkhana’s reach in the US. Activate accordingly.Digital Media, Shopper & DTCSupport the planning, execution, and optimization of paid digital media campaigns alongside our media partners, tracking spend and performance against revenue goals.Support tentpole DTC promotions and moments. Execute always-on email campaigns in Klaviyo. Support in site updates in Shopify.Run review generation and support listings management across retail and Amazon.Support and execute select shopper programs, such as demos or retail listing optimizations, as well as larger campaign moments with retailers.PR & CommunitySupport PR moments in partnership with our agency and UK teams.Proactively find and engage our superfans.Develop a community strategy into real moments: surprise-and-delight, UGC prompts, and one-to-one relationships that build lasting brand love.Experiential & SamplingSupport the logistics backbone for trade shows, demos, sampling programs, supper clubs, and activations.Provide on-the-ground support and real-time content capture at experiential moments.Social Media & Content ProductionExecute in partnership with Senior Marketing Manager the day-to-day US social calendar: scheduling, publishing, and making sure every asset goes live on time, on channel, and on brand.In partnership with Senior Marketing Manager, brief and plan select US campaigns and moments (i.e., a retailer launch plan for social or brand campaign moment), mapping out creative content plans, shoot needs, and influencer partnerships.Be the operator inside our content engine: supporting evergreen and campaign shoots with logistics, props, product, shot-list wrangling, and on-set coordination.Capture on-the-fly content at events and activations; cut short-form yourself when needed (Reels, TikToks, Stories).Support asset organization, trafficking, and the content library the whole team pulls from.Data & AnalysisRun reporting and performance readouts across social, influencer, digital media, etc.Build fluency in our retail and wholesale data — sell-through, velocity, and distribution — and develop a fundamental understanding of our P&L levers and marketing ROI, connecting what we spend to the revenue it drives ABOUT YOU2–6 years of experience in social media, influencer, or brand marketing — ideally within high-end hospitality, restaurants, premium food and beverage, or luxury lifestyle brands.A fellow “doer” with initiative: you’re happy digging a demo kit out of a storage unit as you are on set or at a supper club. You take pride in making things happen. Again, everyone on our team executes and we have an “all hands on deck” mentality. Hands-on experience sourcing, briefing, negotiating, and managing influencer and creator partnerships — with a feel for what makes a great creator fit.Highly organized, with a proven ability to manage editorial calendars, shoot logistics, and approvals across multiple senior stakeholders without dropping the ball.Comfortable in data and analysis: you can build a performance readout, read retail and wholesale sell-through, and want to understand the P&L levers and ROI behind every marketing dollar.You like marketing, but see yourself as more than a marketer — someone who thinks end to end, wants to understand how the whole business fits together, and connects the dots to drive revenue.You live and breathe food culture — the chefs, restaurants, and creators shaping it.
