About 38TERA38TERA is a gut health supplement company founded by gastroenterologist Dr. Will Bulsiewicz (Dr. B) and co-founder Simon Hill. We sit at the intersection of clinical science and everyday wellness, making products that are rigorously researched, dosed honestly, and built for people who hold their health to a higher standard. We're expanding from one product to five in 2026 and building the team to match. Everyone here cares deeply about what we put into the world.About the RoleWe're hiring a Content & Brand Manager who is, first and foremost, an exceptional writer. This is a creative role at its core. You'll be the voice of 38TERA across every customer touchpoint, turning Dr. B's medical authority and Simon Hill's nutrition science into content that's clear, human, and genuinely worth reading. You'll write the copy across all of our owned channels, and as the in-house team grows, copy stays with you. Great writing here doesn't live in a vacuum, though. You'll run the editorial calendar, the founder-content pipeline, and the lead-capture funnels day to day, owning the execution and the quality bar, and bringing ideas that make each program better.Reporting to the Marketing Director, you'll have clear direction on strategy and real autonomy over how the content gets made. The ideal candidate is a strong creative with a serious copywriting background who also knows how to run the machine. Writing is the non-negotiable. Operating is what makes you effective in a small, fast-moving team. What You'll OwnBrand Voice & Copywriting (the core of the role). Serve as the day-to-day steward and primary author of 38TERA's voice across every channel: website, email/SMS, organic social, blog, landing pages, and lead magnets. Write hooks, subject lines, captions, and long-form alike, and brief the Creative team and paid agency on messaging and copy direction. Run quarterly brand voice audits to keep it coherent and recognizable everywhere. (Final copy approval sits with the Marketing Director, and visual creative with the Creative Director.)Content Strategy & Editorial Calendar. Help shape and then run 38TERA's content playbook, with pillars rooted in real science but built for human connection, carrying forward the translation skill Dr. B and Simon are known for: turning evidence into something people understand and trust. Run a structured editorial calendar across organic social, blog/SEO, email content, and lead magnets, translated into weekly execution and content KPIs. Translate messaging strategy for emerging audience segments (GLP-1, perimenopause, and others as they develop) into content that connects.Founder-Led Content Engine. Be the editorial engine behind Dr. B and Simon Hill. Our founders are committed, consistent creators, and your job is to make their output sharper and effortless to produce. Come to capture sessions with researched topics, angles, and tight lines they can deliver in their own voice, then run the long-form-to-short-form pipeline that turns each session into multi-channel assets across paid, organic, and email. You set the cadence and the quality bar, and you protect their educator-only voice. They appear as teachers, never as salespeople, and are never tied to promotions or discounts.Organic Social. Own the organic social channel end to end (currently Instagram, expanding as the playbook justifies): cadence, content mix, and community engagement. Partner with the Influencer & Affiliate Manager on UGC flow and partner content standards.Lead Magnets & Advertorial Funnels. Write the lead magnets and advertorials that convert, including the gut health quiz, educational guides, founder-led pieces, and the advertorial concepts that bridge organic interest to consideration. The Marketing Director owns funnel architecture, journey design, and paid amplification. You own the words inside it, from hook to CTA. Bring ideas for what to test, write the variants, and sharpen based on what performs.Day to DayIn any given week you're writing across formats, turning founder content into multi-channel assets, running the editorial calendar, and briefing the Creative team and external partners. You use AI tooling aggressively. We expect AI-augmented content workflows from day one. You're equally comfortable drafting a landing page from a blank screen and keeping three programs on track.Who You AreAn exceptional copywriter first, with range, voice, and persuasion across paid, email, organic, and long-form, and a portfolio that proves itA creative thinker with a point of view, someone who generates the hooks, angles, and ideas, not just clean executionGenuinely both writer and operator. You can run a content engine and keep multiple programs on track without dropping the writing quality. Most people lean one way, and we need both.4+ years in DTC content, brand, or editorial roles, ideally at a science-backed or health-adjacent brandDeep familiarity with the supplement, health, or wellness category and its voice nuances. You know generic wellness when you see it, and you resist it.Fluent with AI tooling for content production at real volumeComfortable working with credentialed founders, briefing them, shaping topics and lines, and turning their expertise into content that landsLow ego about the work. Copy is judged by the result, not the writer.Bonus: editorial publishing, journalism, or science communication background; a knack for interviewing experts and drawing out what matters; experience with credentialed medical or scientific founders; SEO content productionWho Thrives HereYou care as much about the quality of the work as the output. You're energized by building messaging systems, brand voice, and programs that run well, and you bring the same thoughtfulness to a founding piece of editorial as to a quick caption. You want to work on something you believe in, with founders who are credible, accessible, and genuinely invested in getting it right. And you're honest enough to know that in a role like this, there's nowhere to hide, and you prefer it that way.CompensationBase range: $100K to $120K, plus bonus potential. Final offer based on experience. To ApplyApply through LinkedIn, and please include a link to your portfolio or 2 to 3 writing samples in your resume or profile. We want to see how you write.
