Job DescriptionMarketing DirectorWe are seeking a visionary, hands-on marketing leader to elevate a modern consumer brand through thoughtful strategy and high-performance execution. This individual will operate as both architect and executor—shaping brand identity while actively driving campaigns across digital, social, retail, and marketplace channels. The ideal candidate blends creative intuition with analytical rigor and thrives in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.Core ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & PositioningEstablish and refine brand identity, messaging framework, and visual standards to ensure alignment across all consumer touchpoints, including web, social platforms, packaging, and retail presence.Safeguard consistency while evolving the brand to meet changing market dynamics.Integrated Campaign LeadershipDevelop and launch comprehensive marketing initiatives tied to seasonal releases, product drops, collaborative partnerships, and promotional moments designed to increase awareness, engagement, and revenue.Oversee campaign performance from concept through post-launch analysis.Digital Channel ManagementOwn and optimize all direct-to-consumer marketing channels, including social platforms, email lifecycle programs, and emerging digital outlets.Drive measurable improvements in audience growth, engagement, customer acquisition, and retention.Paid Media & Growth PerformanceDirect paid acquisition strategy across major advertising platforms, managing budgets to maximize efficiency and measurable return.Continuously test creative, audience segments, and bidding strategies to improve performance metrics.Creative Direction & Content OversightGuide the production of multimedia assets (photography, video, short-form content) that reflect brand standards and resonate with target audiences.Ensure content aligns with current trends while maintaining long-term brand equity.Partnership & Affiliate ProgramsBuild and scale performance-based partnership initiatives, including affiliate relationships and creator collaborations that expand reach and drive incremental revenue.Production & Campaign Asset DevelopmentLead planning and execution of major content shoots, including concept development, styling direction, talent coordination, and asset delivery for use across marketing channels.Retail & Marketplace AlignmentCollaborate with external retail and marketplace partners to align on annual marketing priorities, product launches, and promotional calendars.Support co-branded initiatives, digital merchandising efforts, and in-store marketing programs.Multi-Channel Revenue StrategyBalance growth initiatives across owned e-commerce platforms, online marketplaces, and wholesale distribution channels to ensure cohesive brand presentation and revenue expansion.Competitive & Consumer InsightsTrack industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to inform proactive marketing adjustments.E-Commerce Experience OptimizationPartner cross-functionally to enhance site merchandising, product storytelling, and user experience with the goal of improving conversion rates and average order value.Team Development & LeadershipMentor and manage internal marketing team members and external creative partners, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.QualificationsProfessional Experience5+ years in brand, growth, or digital marketing roles, ideally within consumer products, lifestyle brands, or online retail environments.Leadership BackgroundDemonstrated success leading marketing initiatives in entrepreneurial, scaling, or fast-growth settings.Technical ExpertiseProficiency in digital advertising platforms, web analytics tools, e-commerce systems, and customer marketing platforms.Creative & Strategic BalanceStrong visual sensibility with the ability to translate brand storytelling into high-performing marketing assets.Data-Driven ApproachComfortable analyzing KPIs and performance dashboards to inform optimization decisions.Communication SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to influence cross-functional stakeholders.Preferred ExperienceBackground in creator partnerships, earned media outreach, experiential marketing, or branded pop-up activations.CompensationThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $125k – 175k annually.This range represents the good-faith estimate of the pay the employer reasonably expects to offer upon hire, based on the role’s responsibilities, required experience, location, and internal equity.Incentives & BenefitsThis position may be eligible for discretionary, performance-based bonuses and participation in applicable incentive programs. The role also offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, parental leave, and other employee benefits, subject to eligibility requirements.Additional CompensationEquity awards, profit sharing, or other forms of non-cash compensation are not included in the posted pay range and, where applicable, will be discussed during the interview or offer process.
