Assistant Marketing Manager, International

We’re hiring an Assistant International Marketing Manager on JHT’s Global Marketing team and, as I’ve been updating the job description, it’s making me reflect on what international marketing work actually looks like.

People may have the impression that global marketing is about creative campaigns, exciting travel and glamorous industry events.

Hmmm, sometimes it is.

But it’s also:

· managing projects across multiple continents

· navigating cultural nuances and language differences

· supporting global product launches

· coordinating customer visits and training events

· adapting quickly when priorities shift across regions and time zones

· occasionally surviving on coffee, protein shakes and very little sleep

during tradeshow season

The people who thrive in international marketing tend to be highly adaptable, curious, proactive and collaborative. They enjoy learning how people communicate differently around the world and are comfortable balancing both strategy and execution.

It’s fast-paced, occasionally chaotic (maybe more than occasionally 😊) and incredibly rewarding.

This role will work closely with product, sales, creative and regional teams around the world and will report directly to me. Please note: it’s not a remote position.
