What the data shows

39 of 204 active marketing manager-level listings (19%) are remote-eligible. This represents roughly one in 5 roles — down from the peak remote share of 2020–2022, but representing a stable, ongoing portion of the market rather than a continuing decline.

Marketing Manager has the most remote listings in the current dataset with 34 remote roles (21% of that discipline). Brand Manager, Email Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Marketing Manager show zero remote listings in the current snapshot. Roles with direct client or field requirements — such as field marketing — rarely appear as remote.

For international candidates, remote availability does not guarantee geographic flexibility. Many remote listings include location restrictions — US-only, UK-only, or specific time-zone requirements. Always check individual listings for location clauses. The remote jobs page links directly to current openings.

Methodology

This report is generated from active marketing manager-level job listings collected by Marketing Manager Jobs from public employer job feeds and APIs. Listings are filtered to include manager-level marketing roles such as growth marketing manager, product marketing manager, SEO manager, lifecycle marketing manager, demand generation manager, brand manager, marketing director, head of marketing, VP marketing, and CMO.

We exclude non-marketing or non-manager roles such as engineering, product management, sales, support, design, writing-only, analyst, and administrative roles.

Remote status is identified from the job listing’s location and description fields. Listings explicitly tagged as remote or work-from-home are counted. Location-specific listings are not counted as remote even if they mention hybrid options.

The dataset updates as new jobs are ingested. Historical trend data uses weekly snapshots.
